Our 3D Design Club is open to all third, fourth, and fifth graders. Each club session meets once per week for six weeks. There are several club sessions offered throughout the school year. Ranch Hands Student Media Center Volunteers
The Ranch Hands Student Media Center Volunteers program is open to all 3rd and 4th grade students. This volunteer opportunity allows students to engage in meaningful activities that support our school library. Volunteers will help sort and shelve returned library books, assist with the book return process, and keep the Media Center and bookshelves organized and tidy.
Students will be scheduled to volunteer during school hours, signing up for one shift each week. Shifts can be before school, during recess, or after school during bus dismissal.
In addition to their volunteer duties, students will meet for lunch once a week or as needed to learn valuable skills. They will explore the Dewey Decimal System, understand different book genres, and develop basic library organization skills. Through engaging practice and games, students will enhance their understanding of how libraries work, making this a fun and educational experience.
