Comprehensive Counseling 

An important part of the counseling program is our core curriculum lessons that are delivered in the classroom. Each month all students will receive a core curriculum lesson. The lessons are used to address the social, emotional, career, and academic areas. Each lesson covers part of the Gwinnett County counseling competencies (listed to the right). During the spring semester all students will complete a personal safety lesson and a career lesson.  Beginning with the 2021-2022, 5th grade students will receive lessons surrounding suicide prevention through the Lifelines curriculum.
